Having found my beloved Cisco, in 1999, he was an abandoned Rough Collie Blue Merle. We were together until September 2010, when he dropped out of my arms into sleep as he had kidney failure.
Since then I had found a new love Cody" who also being a Rough Coated Collie, & he is every bit the boy my Cisco, was!!
Having searched for the last 2 years for a brother to my Cody, without success until to-day when I found a 4/5 month old puppy in Ashford Kent I was starting to believe that I would never see anther Rough Coated Collie, again until I was introduced to your web-site.
What magnificent pictures & animals, thank you for the chance to view them!!!

The photo of Wicani Awakening on the homepage looks just like the cover painting of a 1920s edition edition of Alfred Ollivant's Bob Son Of Battle, illustrating Owd Bob, the last of the Grey Dogs of Kenmiur

HI Angela
Love the new website.
Milly, Wicani Grace and elegance is extremely active and a vey happy dog. Interested to know if anyone else has a rough collie with such a love of water, I can't keep her out of our pond!
We have 2 other rough collies, not Wicani dogs. Just to let you know that one of them, then aged 9, last year was critically ill with an anal gland abscess that had actually ruptured into his leg presenting with him becoming extremely lethargic and a peculiar swelling 10cm in diameter on the lateral aspect of his leg. our vets and the Liverpool small animal hospital vets had never seen anything like it and it took a few days for the. Diagnosis o just be aware.
Hope one day to see you again
Helen
