The noise in the hall
affected younger exhibits today, two Rottweiler fighting at the ringside plus a
door constantly banging did nothing to give confidence to puppies that are
vulnerable being judged on a table at the best of times. I am sure the three
puppies could change places given different circumstances.
1)
Malone’s CANDERSIDE
CHASE THE SOMMER. Oh so confident young sable lady in possession of a
beguilingly sweet expression. When she lifted those ears, she could charm the
birds from the trees! Pretty head pattern, nice size. Still needs time to
mature in body shape but moved out confidently. BPIB
2)
Russell’s
TUFFEIGHA MOONWEAVER. A very close decision here as I really liked this
tricolour. Had the most glorious rear angulation and neck and here he scored
over the class winner. A little unsettled by the proceedings which showed in his
expression today but a very nice baby, would like to meet him out on the grass
3)
Webb’s TUFFEIGHA
WINE-N-ROSES. Tricolour litter sister and very similar in type, not quite the
bend of stifle of her sibling.

1) Clegram’s SMIDDYSHAWS SHE’S THE ONE and she was
certainly the one today! Tricolour bitch with that wonderful elegance of
conformation I find so irresistible. From her arch of neck to the sweep of loin
and stifle, she is every inch the well heeled lady. Moved effortlessly and with
style. Good head type, very clean and moulded, bright expressive eyes. Pleased
to award her BOB, well done.
2) Harbron’s
RANNERDALE SHADOW BLASTER. Lovely boy showing off a wonderful bright,
intelligent masculine expression. Well moulded head with fabulous finish to his
chin. Nicely constructed and moved out really well. Unsettled by the noisy hall
but his quality could not be denied and this elevated him to RBOB.
Open.
1)
Harbron’s
RANNERDALE THE RED BARON Sh CM Bright red sable boy who certainly belies his
age, still in possession of a super head and he oozes character, such a show
off! A little shorter in body and could not quite match the youngsters on the
move.
2)
Clegram’s SYLGEST
CHANTILLY LACE. Tricolour bitch of eleven years and she still has a full set of
dazzling white teeth. I loved her head type. Dam of my Best of Breed winner.
