WICANI BLUES FOR THE MUSE
Music was born on 21st. April 2007 and is the only daughter ever born to Wicani Wrenee Dessard.
Unfortunately her eye lids stuck to the eye surface when they should have opened at 2 weeks of age creating cysts and she is almost totally blind due to severe damage to the eye surface. However we decided to keep her, and have also decided she will be bred from, the problem is NOT hereditary and we are certain that having a litter to rear (when of age) will bring much joy and fulfillment into her life. She is a very happy and confident young lady and it would be difficult to know she is almost blind as she runs around the fields following her doggy friends by scent and hearing. She is also one of the prettiest bitches ever bred here, and is genetically clear of the MDR1 gene.

what looks like a blue eye is actually scar tissue...but isn't she just gorgeous...
she does have very restricted vision through pin holes in the scaring.
We have begun administering large doses of Vitamin E
and the scar tissue in her eyes is receding. Here she is age 11 months.
