age 16 months below...and getting better every month!

below age 14 months at leisure

and during his first week in the UK

and one month later

and a few days after his first birthday below
here is my impression of him.Upstanding sable and white male, well up to size
and having a presence that shouts 'Collie' from the roof tops!
Although larger than average he is beautifully
balanced with superb length of upper arm, so rare to find in our modern day
collies, which together with his correct angulation gives him a superb front.
Long arched neck, strong level back, well boned legs, oval rib and correct croup,
the overall picture being finished off by a lovely long tail and tight feet.
Head handles beautifully and ticks all my boxes. I especially love the length
and cleanness, absolutely no flare through the cheeks and skull and so
wonderfully molded with a good depth of chin. OK..not the stop that is presently
fashionable here in the UK, this chap has the correct slight but perceptible
stop enabling the head to retain its elegance and dignity. I love his kind,
intelligent and dignified expression coming from the combination of correctly
sized and placed eyes and neat well placed ears.
With maturity I believe this boy will become a
truly 'great' collie. When his body lets down into his frame and his skull
reaches maturity, he promises to be very close to my ideal picture of a Rough
Collie male. On the move he floats showing off a long stride that is totally
effortless, what more can I add to this picture in words of a super young rough
collie gentleman, I congratulate his breeder.
