Mankind will never move forward unless he asks the question " What can i GIVE to this world, rather than what can i TAKE" Anon.
I would like to adapt that to "what can we give to the breed" ?
Our dogs live mostly in kennels although each spends time in doors getting to know people and visitors, some live in doors as family dogs on a permanent basis, but the rest live in doors on a rotary basis once house trained.
Our kennels are breeze block built compartments measuring ten feet by eight feet, they are built within an agricultural barn that was purpose built for livestock and is fully insulated, even the floor. We have sawdust on the kennel floors as this helps to keep the dogs clean.
Some of our dogs have their own furniture to sleep on, others prefer a straw filled basket. We have a radio playing 24 hours per day. At the bottom end of the kennel is a door leading into the large run. Puppies have heat lamps. As dogs are social animals our dogs are kenneled in twos and threes, even adult stud dogs.

Above are the kennel compartments where the dogs sleep and rest. Below is the large exercise area adjoining the kennel block. Our dogs also enjoy almost four acres of meadow land under supervision.
